Jason E. Solomon, DMD, son of Dr. Fred Solomon, provides compassionate general dentistry services to families in and around Summerville and Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, at Solomon Family Dentistry.
Dr. Jason was raised in Charleston, South Carolina (West Ashley), where he remains a lifelong resident. He graduated from Middleton High School and, from there, decided to follow in his father’s footsteps by going into the dental field. He completed his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science at the College of Charleston with honors and completed dental school at MUSC.
Dr. Jason began work with Solomon Family Dentistry in 2007, and he has brought a new perspective to dental care to ensure the continued success of Solomon Family Dentistry. Dr. Jason prides himself in giving his patients the best dental care possible, along with a desire to consistently improve Solomon Family Dentistry to align with the constant changes in dental care.
When Dr. Jason has free time, he enjoys being with his family, running, and occasionally playing basketball or tennis. He also enjoys working with local high school athletes to help get them into college through academics and athletics.
Dr. Jason coached an AAU basketball team in which 10 players went on to earn some level of collegiate scholarship. Two players, Bruce Ellington (University of South Carolina) and Corey Washington (Newberry College), made it to the NFL. This is one of the many ways he and his father give back to the community in which they have spent their lives. Dr. Jason and his wife, Jessica, have two children, Liam and Katie, and their dog, Sadie.
