Maddie Baker, DMD
Dr. Baker was born and raised in Anderson, South Carolina. She moved to North Carolina to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with minors in Neuroscience and Chemistry while competing on the women’s Division I swim team. After graduating from UNC, she returned to her home state to attend the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) College of Dental Medicine, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree and served as President of the Honor Council.
Dr. Baker joined Solomon Family Dentistry after dental school and enjoys getting to know her patients and making them feel at ease during their visits. She believes that building strong relationships with her patients is an important part of providing great care and loves helping patients feel confident in their smiles. She continues to be a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association as part of her commitment to lifelong learning and continuing to grow as a dentist.
Outside of the office, Dr. Baker enjoys spending time with her dog, Pepper, reading, going for runs, trying new restaurants around the Lowcountry, and cheering on the Tar Heels.
Brad D. Peper, DMD, a native of Charleston, is proud to provide high-quality dental care to his hometown community at Solomon Family Dentistry. He provides general dentistry services to patients throughout Summerville and Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
Dr. Peper graduated from Middleton High School, then attended Newberry College, where he played basketball and received his Bachelor of Arts in Experimental Psychology before continuing on to complete his undergrad at the University of South Carolina.
Dr. Peper returned back to Charleston to complete dental school at MUSC, where he was a part of the fraternity Psi Omega and the Student Government Association. He and his wife, Erica, were married in 2015 and enjoy traveling and going to Folly Beach together. Brad also loves playing golf and can usually be found on the course during his free time.
