Our Sangaree office is located at the corner of N. Main St. and Royale Rd. in the Sangaree area of Summerville. Our Carnes Crossroads Office is located in the Carnes Crossroads Development. Our Solomon Kid’s Pediatric Dentistry location is directly next to our Carnes Crossroads Office at Cox Orthodontics.
Yes, we accept Medicaid. However, only patients under the age of 20 years old or younger are covered by Medicaid for dental services.
At Solomon Family Dentistry, we are a general dentist office accepting children ages 4 and up. However, we do have a pediatric dentist location if you wish for your child to see a specialized dentist. This office is located at 108 Parish Farms Drive.
We participate in over 300 major dental insurance companies and several discount plans. See our insurance tab for a list. If you don’t see your carrier please call our office to ask whether or not we are able to work with your insurance.
Sangaree Hours – We are open Monday-Saturday from 7 am to 8 pm and on Sunday from 12 pm to 6 pm.
Carnes Crossroads Hours – We are open Monday – Thursday from 7 am to 8 pm, Friday from 7 am – 5 pm, and on Saturday from 10 am – 6 pm
Kid’s Hours – We are open Tuesday – Wednesday 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM and Saturday 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
We do not use IV sedation on patients; however, we do use Nitrous Oxide Gas, or “laughing gas.” Laughing gas is completely safe local sedation method which relaxes you before your dental procedure. Learn more about Sedation Dentistry here.
Payment is due when services are rendered; however, for our self-pay patients, we offer a Plan For Health discount program. In order to be a member of this discount plan, the patient must not have insurance OR opt to be a self-pay patient.
We do have a Spanish speaking hygienist working in the main office Friday through Monday, to assist with our Spanish speaking patients.
Yes, we do offer dentures to our patients. Partial dentures consist of replacement teeth while complete dentures are an entire set of new teeth. All dentures can be made in a variety of materials, which our dentists will go over with you. Your dentures are molded specifically to fit you, here in our office.
No, tooth-colored fillings are available, but it is always best to discuss your options with the dentists. Learn more about our cavity fillings and which options are available to you.
Yes, usually. There are times when our dentists will refer you to an oral surgeon depending on the condition, which they will discuss with you. Root canals and cavities do not require tooth extraction.
If you have no insurance or are on a discount plan, payment is expected in full at the time of your appointment.
However, if you are a member of our Plan For Health program, payment is due at the beginning of the year. If you do have insurance, you will need to pay your deductible and your percentage of treatment rendered.
We accept cash, Care Credit, and all major credit cards including MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover.
